I had to search through all newspapers from 1950 to 1960 for an interview about the "Delfzijl" / "Przemyśl" conducted with my grandmother. The time of the interview was no longer known to the surviving relatives. This was the most work of the entire search. I really wanted the evidence in black and white, even though the dates of the events were almost conclusive proof to me. The purchase date of the ship, the reason for the purchase was told by Al Capone himself, who bought the schooner, the date of the maiden voyage, the fact that my family was aware that the schooner did not arrive in America on this voyage, etc. The fact that this was the first shipment of beer by ship in the history of Prohibition. And the history of the hijacking of this first beer transport belonging to Al Capone by Dion O'Bannion is generally known. The "Przemyśl" is discussed in the book "Deutsche Schoner" Volume VI by H. Karting. In the magazine "SOS, schicksale Deutscher Schiffe" no. 62 from 1955, 30 pages are devoted to the "Przemyśl".
